From The Newsroom: Navarro County Surveys Weekend Rain Damage; Early Voting Continues

Corsicana and the rest of Navarro County was hardest hit from weekend rain.

The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: Crews will survey damage in Navarro County this morning after major floodingshut down most roads over the weekend. Most of those roads have been reopened, but several side streets remain closed.

There’s an area flood warning for Navarro County until 2:30 p.m.  

Other stories this morning:

  • Speaking in complete sentences seems to come naturally, but sometimes, it needs to be taught. Teachers in Dallas are trying to boost speaking skills of students from pre-K to 2nd grade.
