From The Newsroom: Earthquake Links; Teen Smartphone Use

The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: A new SMU studyhas linked the Azle-Reno earthquakes to oil and gas activity. The state's seismologist says he has no plans to suspend the two injection wells there.

Also, we check back in with Jude Cobler, the Plano boy we profiled in our recent Breakthroughs series, Growing Up After Cancer. Two weeks ago, we learned that he relapsed.

Finally, a new Pew study has uncovered what we suspected -- teens spend a good chunk of time on their smartphones. We'll check in withone school's effort to curb smartphone use in class.
