Dallas, TX – Fort Worth City Council members are expected to set the price for parking at the Will Rogers complex today. KERA's BJ Austin reports.

The new charge for every-day parking on the Will Rogers complex lots and in the Western Heritage Garage will be five dollars, if the proposal from Standard Parking is approved.

The five dollar fee will go to pay for the new multi-story garage. The city has been working with local stakeholders, including the nearby museums, whose patrons need to know about the new cost to park; and the Arlington Heights Neighborhood Association, which is concerned people who don't want to pay will park in front of their homes.

If approved, five-dollar-parking at Will Rogers will go into effect May first.
