Dallas, TX –
If the Texas election for governor were held today, any of the three Republican candidates would defeat Democratic frontrunner Bill White. That's according to a Rasmussen poll conducted Monday.
The poll did not specifically ask about other democratic candidates. It also followed two statewide televised debates that gave GOP contenders a lot of visibility.
Texans will have the opportunity to learn more about democratic contenders Bill White and Farouk Shami Monday night at 7pm. That's when they will meet in a statewide televised debate to be aired live on KERA radio and television.
