Dallas, TX – The Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall is at Fair Park in Dallas this Memorial Day weekend. It is a replica of the "Wall" in Washington DC that holds the names of the men and woman who died in the Vietnam War.
The arrival of the Moving Wall was recognized with a ceremony at City Hall prior to its installation at Fair Park - near the Superpages Center. Police Chief David Kunkle says it is well worth the time.
Kunkle: If you haven't been to Washington DC, you should really see the traveling wall. It is one of those life changing experiences that will stick with you forever.
The full display also honors warriors of other wars, including police and firefighters who died on 9-11. The Wall will be on display thru Monday.
