Lawmakers: Ike Recovery Too Slow

Dallas, TX – Texas is still trying to recover from the devastation from Hurricane Ike, and state lawmakers are trying to help facilitate the recovery effort. Governor Rick Perry continues to hammer the federal government with requests to speed up and increase aide from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA. KUT's Ben Philpott reports lawmakers will hold a meeting today to look into what else can be done to help now and in the future.
