Top Stories: Texas Democratic Governor Candidates Debate; Mayor Betsy Price Talks Infrastructure

Early voting in primary elections begins Tuesday, and Democratic candidates for Texas governor are making their rounds across the state. On Tuesday night, many of the Democratic candidates debated in San Antonio about school finance, healthcare and economic development.

Texas Public Radio’s Joey Palacios was there to catch the conversation.

  • Last year, Christopher Daniels was arrested on a weapons charge. Some civil rights activists argue, though, the Dallas man was arrested for his outspoken views against law enforcement, which the FBI calls "black identity extremism." Journalist Martin de Bourmont has been following the case. Today on Think, he talked with Krys Boyd about what this new terrorism classification means. 

  • Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price spent Monday at the White House, where President Trump unveiled his $1.5 trillion infrastructure plan. Back in North Texas, she sat down with KERA's Rick Holter.
