Top Stories: Gun Violence Roundtables Continue; A Ranking Of Texas Parks

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott hosted the first of three roundtable discussions on school safety, at the Capitol on May 22, 2018.

The top local stories this morning from KERA News:

Gov. Greg Abbott Wednesday will continue roundtable discussions in response to last Friday’s school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas.

The session will focus on gun regulation and mental health. Those attending include state Education Commissioner Mike Morath and Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner.

Abbott will host a third roundtable discussion Thursday.
