Those hoping to get their ashes on Ash Wednesday, which signifies the first day of Lent for Christians worldwide, can do so from their cars.
The Episcopal Church of Saint Thomas The Apostle on Inwood Road in Dallas is scheduled to offer ashes-to-go from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Wednesday in their north parking lot.

It does not include the Eucharist, which symbolizes the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
"Some people have criticized it because of that, but it is an opportunity for busy schedules in our secular world," The Rev. Ray Ball said.
