Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum burst into being over the weekend. From now through Halloween, visitors can catch the mammoth display of pumpkins, squash and gourds.
This year's festival is called "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," so Peanuts characters are posed throughout the display, which includes 90,000 pumpkins.
"Fifty-three different varieties, so there's all types," said Dave Forehand, vice president of gardens at the Arboretum. "If it exists on Earth, it's probably in this patch, in terms of squash, pumpkins and gourds. We've got them all here."
The Arboretumexpects 275,000 visitors this autumn.
