From The Newsroom: Suspending Young Kids From School; How DISD Will Spend $1.6 Billion

The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom: An advocacy group released a report Wednesday showing some North Texas school districts are suspending kids in pre-k through 5th grades at a high rate. 

On Tuesday, Dallas voters passed the largest school bond package in the district’s history. So what happens to the $1.6 billion? KERA takes a look at what residents can expect.

And, scientists have argued the question for a long time. Did the ancestors of birds live in trees, or evolve from running bi-peds? Biologist David Alexander told Krys Boyd about the clue that settled the feud.
