Texans have five months left before the next legislative session, but Denton ISD administrators and board members are preparing to campaign lawmakers for adequate funding.

When they visit lawmakers during the upcoming session, Denton ISD leaders will likely join their peers in neighboring districts to urge passage of a school finance budget that funds 2024 expenses instead of 2019 costs.
