Dallas, TX – There is no issue more important in the presidential election than jobs. Every candidate has a plan for putting people back to work. But exactly what should the government's role be in making that happen?

KERA's Shelley Kofler discussed the role of government in job creation with a panel of 12 North Texas voters. They considered elements in President Obama's $447 billion dollar jobs bill which has stalled in Congress.

Our panel of voters are part of an election year focus group brought together by the Harwood Institute and KERA.
