Austin, TX – HB 3588, the omnibus transportation bill, was passed to third reading in the Senate Tuesday. Sponsor Sen. Steve Ogden says he will accept third reading amendments on Wednesday. He has made the same offer that Sen. Jane Nelson made on HB 2292 allowing amendments to be offered without the required vote numbers usually necessary to hear the amendments on third reading
