Oil Over Wildlife?

NPR's Elizabeth Arnold reports that some members of the Clinton Administration want to give special protection to Alaska Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. President-elect Bush and the oil industry want to drill in the refuge, saying it could hold up to 16 billion barrels of oil, enough for 30 years. Environmentalists are doubtful about the numbers, and say the refuge needs to be preserved as a national monument.
