Journalist Ruben Martinez has taken a tragic story and turned it into a one-man performance. Border Ballad tells of three brothers who crowded into a pick-up truck with 24 other immigrants in hopes of crossing into California. The brothers and five others died when the truck crashed after being pursued by the U.S. Border Patrol. Martinez' four year investigation into the story lead him to the brother's hometown, their families, and other places migrant workers travel for employment.
