Top Stories: Why A Congressman Filed The Texas Voter ID Lawsuit

The top local stories this morning from KERA News: Opponents of the state’s voter ID law are celebrating this week’s federal appeals court ruling. However, the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit challenging the law is cautious.

U.S. Rep. Marc Veasey, a Democrat from Fort Worth, says he won’t be surprised if a similar bill is filed in the next legislative session.
