Top Stories: Another Democrat Goes For Texas Governor; Sexual Harassment In The Arts

Andrew White, 45, son of the late Texas Governor Mark White, announced his candidacy in the Democratic primary for governor of Texas.

The son of a former Texas governor has launched his bid to unseat the current governor. Andrew White held a rally Thursday in Houston, where the investor promised to campaign as a conservative Democrat. The party hasn't captured the Texas governorship since Ann Richards won in 1990.

  • Sexual harassment allegations are rocking the world of arts, entertainment and media. In Dallas, in the last month, a curator from the Dallas Museum of Art resigned and an administrator at The Dallas Theater Center was fired. Art & Seek’s Jerome Weeks looks at factors that make the problem pervasive.

  • We are in the midst of a real Christmas tree problem. Nationally, there are fewer trees available this season. Not to fear though, as Jimmy Maas with KUT-Austin reports, you can still find plenty of trees in parts of the state. They just may not be the ones you want.
