The top local stories this evening from KERA News:

Two Texas cities have made Amazon's list of 20 finalists for its second headquarters in North America. The company says the $5 billion project would include more than 50,000 jobs and be comparable to Amazon’s Seattle campus.

As KERA’s Stella Chavez reports, both Dallas and Austin are feeling optimistic.

Other stories the evening:

  • In the new documentary, “The Final Year" President Barack Obama and his foreign policy team tackle the challenges of his remaining days in office, including the Iran Nuclear Deal, the global refugee crisis and the election of Donald Trump. Today on Think, director Greg Barker talked with Krys Boyd about crafting the path of the story.

  • Sixteen-millimeter film is beloved. It’s risky, imperfect and expensive. Experts praise the film for denser colors and a richer texture than digital images. In this week’s Art&Seek Artist Spotlight, reporter Hady Mawajdeh hits the street with two North Texans who use this film to explore the extraordinary in the ordinary.
