David Dewhurst and Dan Patrick will face off in a debate tomorrow morning at 10:30. It will be live-streamed by WFAA-TV and The Texas Tribune.

In today's All Things Considered local block from the KERA Newsroom: Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst will be fighting for his political life in the May 27th run-off election. He sat down with Shelley Kofler today to talk about the challenge ahead. Also, a new report from the U.S. Geological Survey looks at the recent uptick in small earthquakes in Oklahoma. Doualy Xaykaothao talks with Bill Leith, a senior science advisor at USGS. The man who inspired the 2011 movie “Bernie” is released from prison, and Jerome Weeks catches up with two local theater groups who have just announced their fall seasons.

You can listen to the segment weekdays at 8:20 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. on KERA 90.1 FM.
