It's going to be a wet Wednesday in North Texas.
Several showers and thunderstorms are expected to produce heavy local rainfall and possible flash flooding, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.
By 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, the 48-hour rain totals for Dallas-Fort Worth were around 2.24 inches.

More rain on the way
It'll be a cool day with highs reaching the low 60s in Dallas, Fort Worth and Denton.
By tonight, the rain should move to the eastern part of the state and into Louisiana. But the next chance for rain isn't too far off in the future: Showers are possible Thursday afternoon in Dallas-Fort Worth.
